Papillon Potpourri French Foliage

This lovely card was inspired by the talented Alisa Tilsner.  I love the graphic pop of colour against the background.  With the new Papillon Potpourri stamp set and matching Elegant Butterfly punch, this card was a cinch.  I applied the colour with a sponge dauber which made life quick and easy (I did pull out my markers to colour them in at first, but I wanted a faster method).  I stamped a row of butterflies, then daubed the ink on all over, not worrying about being in the lines since the punch cuts right on the outline for this particular image.

A few stamps over the DSP created a fast background, and I even stamped on the cotton ribbon.
