Elements of Style Box

This lovely box and matching card came about because I had a store-bought present that needed a much nicer box than the one it came in.  So what's a crafter to do?  Whip one up of course.  I took my colour cues from the present itself, a girly string of beaded butterflies close to Melon Mambo and Elegant Eggplant.  I have not used Elegant Eggplant in about a year, so it was so nice to get out the cardstock and ink and see how nicely the two colours worked together, perfect for the 8yr old it was intended for.  I used the gorgeous flourish from "Elements of Style" stamped all over the lid in Elegant Eggplant ink and added matching butterflies, corner guards and ribbon to match.  Now, the central label is a fabulous new stamp and die available in the NEW Autumn-Winter mini catalogue......... imagine the possibilities.  You'll be seeing me use lots more of these in the coming months.
