A Brand New Idea Book + ways to use DSP offcuts

Woohoo, it's finally here!  The brand new 2010-2011 Idea Book has arrived and it is full of stamping goodness.

I look forward to sharing many ideas and projects with you in the coming months.  This new catalogue has also brought a new demonstrator kit!  So, for all of you wondering about how to get the best stamping value for your hard earned dollar......... here it is.

The customisable starter kit includes stamps, ink pads, tools and more with a value of over $515, but you will only invest $289.  But wait, there really is more.... for the month of September, all new demonstrators will receive a FREE in colour kit valued at A$89!  That's ALL the new in colour ink pads (full size), markers and cardstock as shown below.

Remember, there are so many reasons why people become demonstrators.  Some just want high quality products at a discounted price, others just want the kit as the best value for their money, some see the fabulous business potential......... whatever your reason may be, contact me and join the Escape Artist team.

And now, here is a simple way I used the beautiful designer paper from the last catalogue:

Cardstock:  Whisper White
Ink: Not Quite Navy
Stamps: Baroque Motifs
Acc:  1" circle punch, clear rhinestone brad, flower trio punch (retired), Urban Garden DSP (ret), Bella Bleu DSP(ret), Perfect Polka dots embossing folder

I was very pleased at how well the Urban Garden and Bella Bleu papers fit together, since I have lots of offcuts stashed away!  I punched out the circles, ran them through the perfect polka dots embossing folder for some extra texture, then adhered then straight onto the whisper white card front.  That's right folks....... no matting.  Amazing.  I popped a small punched flower onto one circle and added some bling with the clear rhinestone brad that I popped right through the card front.  It does show on the inside, but it is very neat.  I then stamped the sentiment straight onto the front and there you have it - a very easy way to maximise those paper scraps.

Happy Stamping,
