And I had better show you a card:
Cardstock: Baja Breeze, Choc Chip. Whisper White
Ink: Choc Chip, Close to Cocoa
Stamps: Fox & Friends, Heard from the Heart
Acc: Urban Garden DSP, Choc Chip 1" Double Stitched Grosgrain ribbon, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, Stampin Dimensionals, Crystal Effects, Blender Pen
This simple card uses the gorgeous monkey from the new Fox and Friends set. I used my SAMJ to position the monkeys on top of each other. The actual monkeys are inked in close to cocoa, then rock n rolled in choc chip ink to give subtle shading. I sponged the edges of the WW cardstock in close to cocoa, then matted on choc chip. The card base is Baja Breeze with another layer of BB that I embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots folder (getting a good workout those polka dots!), then a simple strip of urban garden paper behind to anchor it all. I adhered a small piece of folded choc chip grosgrain ribbon on the side, popped the whole piece up on dimensionals, then stamped the sentiment in choc chip ink directly on to the paper. Lastly, I used my blender pens to add a bit of close to cocoa colour to the monkey's belly and topped it with a bit of crystal effects for dimension.
