This fun-filled set called "Tropical Party" and the matching "Island Oasis" designer paper are only available in the current Summer mini catalogue until March 31st, so even though we haven't had much of a summer here in Melbourne, you can still inject some summer spirit into your cards and scrapbooking layouts.
Here are two variations of a simple card layout.
Cardstock: Pacific Point, Whisper White, So Saffron
Ink: Pacific Point, Old Olive, Soft Suede
Stamps: Tropical Party, Afterthoughts (hostess set)
Acc: Island Oasis DSP, Brights brads, dimensionals
I have stamped on the card front using the matching Pacific Point ink to create a background pattern, then added a strip of designer paper as an accent. For the main image panel I used my stampin' write markers directly on the stamp then stamped three times without reinking (called stamping off) to create the three images that get progressively lighter. I inked up only the words I required for the sentiment in Pacific Point again then matted with a pop of So Saffron. Fast, easy and fun. You could stamp up a stack of these in a small amount of time and have them on hand when you need to send some love in the mail.
Happy Stamping,
