Flight of the Butterfly

A shamelessly girly card.  I would recommend using a stamp-a-ma-jig for correct positioning.
Cardstock: Whisper White, Pink Pirouette (or Pretty in Pink), Riding Hood Red (or Ruby Red)
Ink: Kiwi Kiss, Baja Blue, Pacific Point, Pink Pirouette, Riding Hood Red, Old Olive
Stamps: Flight of the Butterfly, Inspired by Nature
Acc: White Vellum, Butterfly punch (from summer mini cat, ends 31/3), Scallop Border Punch, Stamp-a-ma-jig

This card is on a Whisper White card base, cut lengthways down the A4 sheet to create a 10.5cm x 14.8cm top fold card.  I punched a scalloped border in the Pink Pirouette layer and adhered it to the card base.  For the stamped panel, I inked up the large daisy stamp from Inspired by Nature in Kiwi Kiss, then stamped it lightly on scrap paper first, then onto the WW piece, to achieve a lighter colour.  I stamped the butterfly backgrounds, then used the stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp the butterfly border in a darker colour.  Again using the good ol' SAMJ, I stamped the sentiment in place.  I then stamped another butterfly pattern onto vellum, let it dry for a few minutes, then punched it out with the butterfly punch.  Fold the butterfly in half to give the wings some lift, then adhere with a mini glue dot underneath the folded centre to the main panel.
WARNING:  This card is addictive.
