I love Lindt Lindor chocolate, so this Easter I made some simple chocolate slider covers to dress them up. The simple ribbon pull always has a great "WOW" factor, and using co-ordinating ribbon and cardstock finishes it off nicely. The punch art bunny was inspired by Mary Fish, I changed the sizes of the punches/ dies to suit the size of my chocolate cover. I showed these as Halloween favours with a punch art bat earlier, and I am sure you will see them again as they are so fun and versatile!
The cover I made fits the tapered Australian 100g Lindt lindor chocolate blocks. I used a piece of cardstock 15.8cm x 19.8cm. Measuring along the longest edge, I scored at 1.5cm, 3.0cm, 10.5cm and 12.0cm and folded it up to make the chocolate cover. This cover is tapered to match the chocolate block.
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Bashful Blue, Naturals Ivory, Old Olive, Pretty in Pink
Ink: Crumb Cake
Acc: 2 1/2" oval from Oval Originals die, 1 3/4" circle punch (no 41 from IBC), Large Oval (no 46 from IBC), small heart punch (no 25 from IBC), Bashful Blue satin ribbon, adhesive rhinestones
I sponged the edges of the bunny pieces for extra definition, fringed the grass, assembled the bunny then added the cute pink tail with a little bling for good measure. The bashful blue satin ribbon is threaded right through two holes punched in the top of the cover, then the chocolate block is inserted pushing the ribbon down and tied simply at the top, preventing it from falling out - simple and useful.
