The Letters to Santa DSP contains some lovely image sheets that require little further than a few rhinestones and a sentiment. Here are a couple of cards that the Creative Christmas group made recently. We cut the DSP to 4"x4" squares, so from one 12" sheet you get 9 squares, that fit nicely on to a standard card front with a little border and room along the bottom for a greeting. We used the matching Merry and Type stamp set and the fabulous Designer Frames Textured Impressions Folders for the Big Shot.

* Big Shot Tip*
Most of the time my Big Shot works just the way it should, but every now and then when I emboss, it leaves a line where the edge of the folder was, or embosses too deeply for the type of cardstock I am using. Play around with the "sandwich" in your Big Shot machine to achieve the depth of impression you want from your Textured Impressions Embossing Folders. Each weight of cardstock and DSP will have a different embossed result, so it's OK to add/remove a tab and make the stack thicker or thinner. I was embossing whisper white cardstock and the pressure was too great, causing the cardstock to crack and cut through, which was not the look I was after. I actually used the multipurpose platform with ALL tabs closed and used just ONE acrylic plate on top instead of two. This wasn't quite thick enough, so I found that adding 3 layers of cardstock as a shim was just the right thickness on this occasion. Play around and see what works best on your machine.
